The motor is the main power equipment of the fluorine lined pump, because of long-term use, so the motor damage is often a matter. In order to prevent damage to the motor during operation, in addition to taking necessary maintenance measures before operation, it is also necessary to pay attention to maintenance in peacetime. So what do you need to pay attention to during the use of fluorine pump motor? As follows:
1. The motor should be kept clean. When the motor is in operation, dust, water marks, and other dirt entering the interior can produce short-circuit fault substances that destroy the insulation of the power cable jacket, causing short-circuit, expanding the electric current, increasing the temperature, and ultimately causing damage to the motor.
2. Pay close attention and listen carefully. If you notice any unusual odors, immediately turn off the power and inspect the motor to see if it is vibrating, making noises, or emitting unusual odors. When the motor is in operation, especially for larger motors, it is important to regularly check whether the fasteners, motor bearing end caps, roller bearing rotor covers, etc. are loose, whether the grounding system is reliable, etc.
3. Maintain the electrical current during the motor’s operation. If the motor is overloaded, the working voltage is too low, or the mechanical equipment being operated is stuck, the motor will work under load. Therefore, during the operation of the motor, it is necessary to pay attention to checking whether the gear transmission works flexibly and reliably; whether the coaxiality of the coupling is in accordance with the standard; if the active gear is found to be stuck, please shut down and inspect the fault before running again.
4. Regularly maintain and inspect the motor’s control system. The technical condition of the motor’s control system has a fundamental effect on the motor’s normal startup. Therefore, the motor’s control system should be located in a position that is conducive to drying, ventilation, and operation, and regularly cleaned.
5. Regularly check the motor temperature while it is running. Regularly check whether the motor bearing is overheating, whether there is too little oil, and if you notice that the temperature around the rolling bearing is too high, first cut off the power and check it. Check whether there are cracks, scratches, or damage on the rolling bearing body and raceway surface, whether the bearing gap is significantly swinging, and whether the inner ring is rotating on the shaft etc.
